Muskegon River
The Might Muskegon sits near the central down of Newaygo - starting its flow in Muskegon on Lake Michigan. A gorgous tailwater with gin-clear water, vegetation, and beatiful forested banks, it competes with some of the best the West has to offer. Similar to many of the larger Michigan water, the Muskegon offers anglers an opportunity at King, Brown, and Steelhead, as well as trophy Pike, walleye, and small mouh. The Croton dam is a great starting point with controlled and consistent output.
